GP Census

GP Census is an online survey tool originally developed by General Practice Tasmania, and now owned and operated by AGPN.

GP Census 2009

GP Census was deployed by 13 of 17 Queensland divisions in August 2009.

There were two surveys, one for GPs and one for general practices, with each survey containing three levels of question – national, state and local.  In total, 1119 GPs (36%) and 529 Practices (50%) completed the survey with the majority (77%) completing the survey online rather than via paper.

A GP Census Report was prepared by GPQ and distributed to divisions and key stakeholders.  This document provides valuable benchmark data about the divisions to which future surveys can be compared.
