Collaborative Research Hub (CRH)
Description Collaborative Research Hub (CRH) was a response to divisions of general practice need for research on-demand and relevant research to inform planning and organisational and health outcomes.

The CRH key focus is on increasing the relevance and use of health service research to inform decision-making by facilitating knowledge transfer and exchange.

General Practice Advisory Council (GPAC)
Description GPAC's mission is to improve the health outcomes of Queensland people through better communication, coordination and collaboration between government agencies, general practice organisations, general practitioners and the non-government sector.

General Practice Network Leadership Group (GPNLG)
Description The GPNLG is the coalition of the Australian General Practice Network (AGPN) and State and Territory State-Based Organisations (SBOs) representing Networks of General Practice in Australia.

The GPNLG (formerly the AGPN-SBO Coalition) was formed following the establishment of SBOs in the late 1990s.

Non-Government Chronic Disease Leadership Team (NGCDLT)
Description The Non-Government Chronic Disease Leadership Team (NGCDLT) comprises representatives from all key partners in the implementation of the Queensland Strategy for Chronic Disease 2005-2015.

The NGCDLT aims to:
  • Provide statewide leadership, coordination and support to the implementation of chronic disease prevention and management strategies
  • Identify and build the evidence base for chronic disease prevention and management through the development, implementation and evaluation of models of intervention and service delivery
  • Support local planning processes to identify strategies in priority areas at the local and regional level
  • Facilitate and support the development and maintenance of regional and local health and community service provider partnerships
  • Work with regional partnerships and local health and community services to support the integration and development of chronic disease prevention and management services and programs for the Queensland community
Provide an interface between community-based and government implementation strategies and other initiatives.

Queensland Primary Mental Health Care Collaborative (QPMHCC)
Description QPMHCC membership consists of representatives from government, non-government, general practice, consumer and professional  organisations.

The mission of the Collaborative is to form stronger links between member stakeholders around primary mental health care issues

Queensland Self Management Alliance (QSMA)
Description The Queensland Self-Management Alliance (QSMA) is a coalition of organisations committed to the promotion and support of chronic disease self-management.

As a broadly based, consultative and community driven alliance of major stakeholders, QSMA has a key role in maximizing the human, financial and informational resources available to meet community needs in the area of chronic disease self-management

Working together, QSMA seeks to guide the adoption and normalisation of better self-management to support and enhance the health and wellbeing of all Queenslanders.

GPQ has an elected representative member on QSMA’s Management Advisory Group which convenes monthly to progress key objectives.

Queensland Public Health Forum (QPHF)
Description The Queensland Public Health Forum (QPHF) is a strategic leadership alliance of government and non government organisations with a commitment to improving public health outcomes in Queensland.

The QPHF partnering approach capitalises on each organisation’s expertise and areas of influence to develop the most appropriate course of action for intervention in key public health issues.
