Together we can build a better health system

GPQ Policy and Resources

In this period of unprecedented health reform, GPQ continues to take a leadership role for its members and the primary health care sector in guiding reform.  Through leadership, partnerships, advocacy and policy development GPQ has plays a critical role in realising the benefits of health reform for Queenslanders.  This is being achieved through ongoing strategic engagement with Ministers, Parliamentary Secretaries, departmental executives, the Queensland primary health care sector (peak bodies, advocacy groups), and the Australian General Practice Network.

GPQ has actively engaged in the consultation processes undertaken by the Department of Health and Ageing in relation to the reform process.
